Three Nigerian Men Arrested in Algeria After Attempting to Enter Spain Disguised as Sheep
Three Nigerian men have been arrested by Algerian authorities after attempting to illegally enter Spain by disguising themselves as sheep inside a livestock truck.
According to border officials, the men were hiding among a group of real sheep in a truck that was heading toward the Spanish border. Their plan was uncovered during a routine inspection when officers noticed that some of the “sheep” were behaving unusually, raising suspicion among the security team.
Upon closer examination, the officials discovered that the three individuals were wearing improvised sheep-like coverings in an attempt to blend in with the animals and avoid detection. The men were immediately detained for questioning, and authorities confirmed that they are Nigerian nationals.
Officials described the incident as an unusual and risky attempt at illegal migration, highlighting the dangerous lengths some migrants go to in search of better opportunities. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the men were part of a larger smuggling network.
The case has sparked reactions online, with many people expressing shock at the creativity and desperation involved in the failed escape plan.
