Tinubu Assures Nigerians of Peace, Warns Against Agents of Instability

Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday assured Nigerians that the country will not allow any group or individual to threaten its peace, unity, and sovereignty.

The President gave the assurance while addressing national concerns about security and stability, stressing that his administration remains committed to protecting the nation and ensuring that citizens can live and work in safety.

According to Tinubu, Nigeria’s unity remains non-negotiable, and the government will continue to take decisive actions against individuals or groups attempting to create unrest or destabilize the country. He emphasized that national peace and security are essential for economic growth, development, and social progress.

“We will never allow agents of instability to undermine the peace, unity, and sovereignty of our nation,” the President said, reiterating his administration’s commitment to maintaining law and order across the country.

Tinubu also called on Nigerians to remain united and support government efforts aimed at strengthening national security and promoting peaceful coexistence among the country’s diverse ethnic and religious groups. He noted that unity and cooperation among citizens are vital in overcoming the nation’s challenges.

The President further assured that security agencies have been directed to remain vigilant and proactive in addressing threats to the country’s stability. He added that the federal government will continue to invest in strategies and resources that will improve the nation’s security architecture.

Nigeria has faced several security challenges in recent years, including insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, and communal conflicts in different parts of the country. These issues have raised concerns among citizens and prompted calls for stronger government action.

However, Tinubu expressed confidence that with continued cooperation between government institutions, security agencies, and the public, Nigeria will overcome its security challenges and remain a united and peaceful nation.

He urged Nigerians not to lose hope, assuring them that his administration remains focused on building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous country for all.
