Usyk Avoids Shock Defeat Against Verhoeven
Ukrainian heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk narrowly escaped one of the biggest upsets in modern boxing after defeating Dutch kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven in a dramatic and controversial showdown in Egypt.
The highly anticipated crossover fight took place near the famous Pyramids of Giza, where Verhoeven shocked fans by pushing the unbeaten Usyk to the limit for most of the contest.
