Condolences have kept pouring in for the late Hamisu Danjibga, a journalist and correspondence of Voice Of Nigeria (VON) in Zamfara State.
The Director General of the cooperation has released their official press statement and condolence message to the public and family of the deceased pressman.

It is with heavy heart that the Staff and Management of Voice of Nigeria (VON), announce the murder of Hamisu Danjibga, our Correspondent who was kidnapped in the early hours of Monday, 18th of September, 2023, by terrorists in Zamfara State.
Late Hamisu Danjibga was one of VON’s longest serving Hausa Service Correspondents. He was a dedicated and diligent Reporter and served in different capacities in his long career.
There is no doubt that we, the VON family, our colleagues nationwide and his immediate family will miss him; however we take solace in the truism that Almighty God gives and takes.
Whilst praying for his soul to Rest In Peace (RIP), we passionately pray to Almighty God to oblige his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
