JAMB Releases Over 1.8 Million UTME Results Nationwide

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for over 1.8 million candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across Nigeria.

In a statement issued by the examination body, JAMB confirmed that the results were processed and released following the successful conduct of the nationwide exercise. The board noted that the release marks a significant step in the ongoing admission process into tertiary institutions for the academic session.

According to JAMB, candidates can access their results through the official portal and other designated channels provided by the board. The body also urged candidates to remain patient and follow proper procedures while checking their scores to avoid falling victim to misinformation or fraud.

JAMB further disclosed that some results are still being withheld due to suspected examination malpractice. The board emphasized its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process, stating that investigations are ongoing and affected candidates will be duly informed upon conclusion.

The UTME remains a critical requirement for admission into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. With the release of the results, institutions are expected to begin the next phase of admissions, including the setting of cut-off marks and post-UTME screenings.

Candidates and stakeholders have been advised to stay updated through official JAMB communications as the admission process progresses nationwide.
