Recall that off-cycle gubernatorial elections were held in the states of Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prevailed in Bayelsa, but the All Progressives (APC) triumphed in Kogi and Imo.
At the presidential palace in Abuja on Friday, Uzodinma and the governor-elect of Kogi, Usman Ododo, gave President Bola Ahmed Tinubu their certificates of return.
Speaking during the tour, Uzodinma claimed that the APC’s triumph in the states of Kogi and Imo demonstrated the Party’s “growing popularity.”
Uzodinma said that they came to thank the President for his leadership in the nation by giving him the certificate.
“You may remember that on November 11th, our wonderful party, the All Progressives Congress, gained significant traction and emerged victorious in the states of Kogi and Imo.
