A Shari’a court in Kano has placed Hafsa Ibrahim under detention after she attacked her husband Jamilu Muhammad with a neighborhood pressing iron and tore 90 sets of his clothes to pieces.
The wife was accused of acting on her suspicion that her husband was using his phone to talk to other women.
Usman Shuaibu Dala, the prosecutor, reportedly informed the judge that Hafsa beat her husband in the head with a local iron, causing injuries, according to Dailypost.
Dala also told the court that she had taken his N80,000 phone and used scissors to rip 90 sets of his clothes to pieces.
