Popular Nigerian skitmaker Cute Abiola has come under heavy criticism after sharing a video capturing moments from his wife’s delivery surgery, a move that has triggered widespread backlash across social media platforms.

The comedian, known for his humorous online content, posted clips showing parts of the hospital experience during the birth of their child. While the post appeared to celebrate the arrival of their newborn, many viewers expressed discomfort over the decision to film and publicly share such a sensitive and private medical moment.

Critics argue that childbirth especially when it involves surgery should remain a deeply personal experience, raising concerns about privacy, consent, and respect for medical boundaries. Some social media users questioned whether his wife had fully agreed to the recording and its public release, while others condemned the act as inappropriate content creation.

“This shouldn’t be content,” one user wrote, echoing the sentiments of many who believe that certain life events should not be turned into entertainment for online engagement.

However, a section of his supporters defended the skitmaker, stating that documenting special family moments is a personal choice. They argued that as long as there was mutual consent between the couple, the criticism may be excessive.

The controversy has reignited broader conversations about the limits of social media sharing, particularly among influencers and content creators who often blur the line between private life and public content.

As of the time of this report, Cute Abiola has not issued any official statement addressing the backlash.
