Again, Judge’s Absence Stalls Ogun Speaker’s Fraud Case

Due to the presiding judge, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court located in Abeokuta, allegedly being on leave, the case has been postponed until January 21 and 22, 2024.

Remembers that the lawsuit has been put on hold four times for various reasons.

Pre-election issues prevented the court from starting to hear the case on November 21, 2022.

It is said that the judge was not well enough to hear the case in January 2023.

Similarly, when Justice Justice Abdulmalik was transferred out of Ogun State for post-election tribunal responsibilities on March 29, the matter came to a standstill.

The case was postponed again on Tuesday due to the judge’s leave of absence upon her return from her duties on the election tribunal.
