Bank Manager Sentenced For 121 Years For Customer”s Account Manipulation

FCMB manager sentence for 121 years for misappropriating customers fix deposits to the tune of N112,100,000

Bank managers are being watched now over constant complains of various customers on the tampering of their accounts especially fixed deposits.

In a breaking news received by Kpomkwem News has disclosed that a manager of one the notable banks in Nigeria has been sentenced to 121 years in an Anambra court.

A bank manager working with the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) in one of the branches in Onitsha Anambra State has been sentenced to 121 years in prison for embezzling N112 million from a customer’s fixed deposit account.

Justice S. Odili at the Anambra State High Court in Onitsha, Anambra State, delivered the verdict, convicted and sentencing the now former manager at the First City Monument Bank’s branch in Onitsha whose names are; Nwachukwu Placidu.

He was sentenced to a total of 121 years in prison for misappropriating fixed deposit funds totaling  to a sum of N112,100,000 from a customer for personal use.
