The senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Uba an the All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain has been reported dead in a hotel room in London, United Kingdom.
Kpomkwem News was alerted that senator Ifeanyi Ubah left Nigeria for London two days ago and died in the early hours of Saturday 27 July, 2024 (Today).
His death came as a surprise and was disclosed on a group chat of senators who had started to pour in tributes.
The late senator Ifeanyi Uba before his death was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capital Oil (CCO)
Recording that a few days ago, his campaign council donated al sum of N71 million to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, to boost the party’s strength in the region.
The donation, which includes N50million from Senator Ubah himself, was part of his pledge to support the party and enhance its effectiveness in the state.
The media are waiting for the official announcement of this incident from the red chamber.
Late Ifeanyi Uba was born on 3 September, 1971 and died at the age of 52. He left behind, his wife Mrs. Uchenna Uba and 5 children and host of other relations.
