A salary increase of 25% and 35% for civil servants across various consolidated salary structures have been approved by the Federation Government Of Nigeria.
This was disclosed from a statement signed by Emmanuel Njoku, the Head of Press, National Salaries, Incomes, and Wages Commission.And the salary increases takes effect from January 1, 2024 as approved by the federation government on Tuesday.
Furthermore, he added that the augmentation applies to the six remaining consolidated salary structures, namely
- Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Research and Allied Institutions Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Police Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Para-military Salary Structure,
- Consolidated Intelligence Community Salary Structureb, and
- Consolidated Armed Forces Salary Structure.
