Why I Keep Calling Baba-Ahmed, the Tinubu Drug Dealer

Sen. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, a former federal lawmaker and Labour Party vice presidential candidate in the previous election, claimed that honoring President Bola Tinubu wouldn’t stop him from calling the outgoing governor of Lagos State a drug dealer.

Shortly after accompanying Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the previous election, to a global press conference in Abuja, Datti Baba-Ahmed spoke in an interview with Arise TV.

Many years ago, there were reports that connected the president to drug-related activities; however, the Supreme Court has refrained from pronouncing on such cases.

He said, “Calling Tinubu a drug dealer does not mean I will stop respecting him.”

He emphasized that Nigerians have the right to retake their nation and declared that they must do so.

“Guns should be taken out of Nigerian hands and used against the country’s enemies; Nigeria needs to regain its sovereignty!”

“The people own authority and sovereignty! Democracy is the privilege of the able.
