In the Ugandan village of Koboko, a woman who appears to be a native doctor made an extraordinary arrest of a suspected robber.
In a widely shared video, the woman could be seen standing stone-faced behind the thief that she had herded to the Koboko police station. The robber’s hands were raised, revealing a mound of bees that had encased his hands in cuffs.
Excited by the unusual and unconventional arrest, onlookers and police officers at the station quickly pulled out their phones to record the exciting scene.
Remarkably, the bees did not sting the robber or the onlookers, nor did they fly away. A Facebook commenter referred to this as “magic from Africa.”
