I Don’t Want Money, I Want a Song Verse ” – Portable Pleads With Wizkid
In the middle of the N20 million cash donation to GOE, Portable fervently requests a musical verse from globally renowned singer Wizkid.
The “Zazoo Zeh” musician’s response follows a number of celebrities writing songs for Wizkid, who made headlines for giving hypeman GOE—the man behind the viral “Ta Ta Ta” song—a generous present of N20 million.
Portable reflects on a previous interview where he advised the Grammy Award Winner to consistently show love to those in need. He indicates his wish to work with Wizkid in a manner akin to Olamide’s.
He went on to describe how much he would like Wizkid to add a verse to his work, stressing that this kind of cooperation would be more valuable to him than a N20 million donation.
