Wizkid first public appearance since mom’s demise

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has made his initial public appearance since his mother’s death.
The singer’s mom, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun died on Friday, August 18, 2023, after an alleged battle with cancer for several months.
The late Mrs. Balogun passed away in a London hospital at the age of 64.
She was said to have received an abundance of care and attention, as Wizkid, who was known for his deep devotion, dedicated a significant amount of time to her.
Known for his adoration of his mother, whom she affectionately called IB-Boy, a shortened form of his Islamic name, Ibrahim, the international sensation withdrew from the public eye following this tragic occurrence.
He, however, made his first public appearance attending a private view of a fashion event in London.
The event ‘Gabrielle Chanel Fashion Manifesto’ was held at The V&A in London, United Kingdom, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
