After a thrilling second half in Abidjan, Egypt battled back twice to tie 2-2 with Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations.
In first-half stoppage time, Mohammed Kudus scored with a rocket to give Ghana the lead, only one minute after Pharaohs captain Mohamed Salah was substituted hurt.
Omar Marmoush tied the score, but Kudus of West Ham promptly gave the Black Stars the lead back with a deflected shot.
But after two Group B games, Mostafa Mohamed stabbed in to give Egypt their second point and leave Ghana without a victory.
Both teams had late opportunities to win it. First, Pharaohs goalie Mohamed El Shenawy failed to clear a corner that Iddrisu Baba could not divert goalward, and then Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori saved an effort from Emam Ashour.
