Fury-Usyk Undisputed Fight Confirmed And Deontay Wilder Predicts

Fury Vs Usyk

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have finally agreed a deal to face each other in Saudi Arabia – and former heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, believes the fight will come down to one key factor.

Hopes of seeing the top two in the division face off had started to fade after talks collapsed earlier in the year over rematch financials. Usyk went on to fulfil his WBA mandatory obligation and successfully defended his titles against Daniel Dubois, whilst Fury announced a crossover fight against MMA star, Francis Ngannou.

However, talks were continuing behind the scenes and the match-up the boxing world has been calling for was confirmed as signed by both teams this week.

One man who will have a keen eye on the outcome is former Fury foe, Deontay Wilder. Fury and Wilder were involved in one of the great heavyweight trilogies, with ‘The Gypsy King’ knocking out the American twice after a controversial draw in their first encounter.

In a resurfaced clip, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ told FightHype that Fury’s size will ultimately be too much for Usyk.

“Fury’s size is what makes him gain more success. When I see him against Usyk I see how they cheated Cunningham with that clubbing, putting his weight on him and clubbing him, and I could see him doing the same thing with Usyk, putting his weight on him.

I do think Usyk has more skill, but when it comes to the size and stuff I don’t think he’ll be able to compete with the size of Fury. But who know’s that’s just my opinion.”

Fury-Usyk is set to take place in Saudi Arabia during Riyadh season, providing the WBC champion comes through his clash against Ngannou on October 28 unscathed.
