Speaking on the development, the company’s Marketing Director, Oke Umurhohwo, said StarTimes is committed to ensuring that football fans across Nigeria can follow every moment of the tournament, regardless of their location or financial capacity.
“The FIFA World Cup is more than a football competition; it is a unifying event that brings together families, friends, viewing centres, and entire communities,” Umurhohwo said.
“We are delighted to broadcast all 104 matches live and, at the same time, reward our loyal subscribers with exciting prizes, including a grand prize of N10 million.”
As part of its “Watch the World Cup. Win Big.” promotion, StarTimes will reward subscribers with prizes worth a combined N50 million throughout the tournament.
