Manchester City Wins 2025/26 FA cup. Manchester City have once again lifted the FA Cup trophy after defeating Chelsea 1-0 in an exciting final played today at Wembley Stadium.

The highly anticipated clash brought together two of England’s biggest clubs in front of thousands of football fans, with both teams hoping to end the season with silverware. Chelsea started brightly and created a few dangerous opportunities in the opening stages, but Manchester City gradually took control of possession and dictated the pace of the game.

Despite several chances from both sides, the first half ended goalless as the two teams struggled to find a breakthrough. Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrović made important saves to deny City attackers, while Chelsea’s forwards also tested City’s defence on a few occasions.

The breakthrough finally came in the 72nd minute when Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo scored the winning goal with a brilliant backheel finish inside the penalty box after a dangerous delivery from Erling Haaland. The stunning goal immediately sparked celebrations among City supporters inside Wembley.

Chelsea responded by pushing more players forward in search of an equaliser, but Pep Guardiola’s men remained calm and organised defensively. City goalkeeper Ederson also produced key saves late in the match to preserve the narrow advantage.

At the final whistle, Manchester City players and fans celebrated another successful season as the club secured its eighth FA Cup title. The victory also gives Guardiola another major trophy in his remarkable spell at the club.

For Chelsea, the defeat is another painful moment in a season filled with inconsistency, as the Blues once again missed out on silverware despite showing moments of quality throughout the competition.

Manchester City’s triumph further confirms their dominance in English football over the past decade.
