BREAKING: Disciplinary Tribunal Panel by majority decision, lifts Tobi Amusan’s provisional suspension with immediate effect, clears Tobi to compete at the World Athletics Championship.
The panel said Tobi Amusan did not commit an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) of three Whereabouts Failures within a 12-month period.
Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) said they were disappointed by the decision to lift Tobi’s suspension and will decide at a later date if they’re going to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) within the applicable deadline.
