Iman Shumpert Finalizes Divorce Settlement With Teyana Taylor, Transfers Over $25 Million in Assets
Former NBA player Iman Shumpert has finalized his divorce from singer, actress, and entrepreneur Teyana Taylor, with court documents revealing a settlement that will see Taylor receive assets valued at more than $25 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, Taylor is set to receive $10 million in cash, alongside four residential properties collectively valued at approximately $10 million. The settlement also includes several luxury vehicles awarded to Taylor, namely a Maybach estimated at $300,000, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter valued at about $80,000, and a custom tour bus worth roughly $700,000.
In addition to these assets, Taylor will retain full ownership of all her businesses. Reports indicate that this comes after she had already received about 75 percent of Shumpert’s total wealth accrued during their marriage.
Shumpert is also required to pay $8,000 per month in child support for their children, in addition to covering their educational tuition and medical expenses.
The settlement significantly reduces Shumpert’s remaining assets, leaving him with an estimated $2 million and no personal residence. According to the filings, this outcome is linked to the decision made during the marriage to place his entire fortune into a joint account with Taylor.
The high-profile divorce has drawn widespread attention due to the scale of the financial settlement and the prominence of both parties in sports and entertainment.
