Police Recover Stolen Vehicle Using Tracking System in Kwara

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have successfully recovered a stolen vehicle in Kwara State through the use of advanced tracking technology, reinforcing growing efforts to combat car theft across the state.

According to police authorities, the vehicle was reported stolen by its owner, prompting a swift response from officers who immediately activated a digital tracking system installed in the car. Within hours, the location of the vehicle was identified, leading operatives to a hideout where the car was recovered.

Sources within the command revealed that the suspects abandoned the vehicle upon noticing increased police presence in the area, allowing officers to retrieve it without damage. Investigations are ongoing to track down those responsible and bring them to justice.

The spokesperson for the Kwara State Police Command commended the use of modern technology in crime-fighting, noting that such tools are becoming increasingly vital in tackling vehicle theft and other criminal activities.

Residents have been advised to install tracking devices in their vehicles and remain vigilant, as authorities continue to strengthen surveillance and response systems.
