In the headline event of the “Knockout Chaos” programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Anthony Joshua defeated Cameroonian boxer Francis Ngannou via second-round knockout to win his fourth straight fight.

Following back-to-back wins in 2023 against Jermaine Franklin in April and Robert Helenius via seventh-round knockout in August, Joshua easily defeated Otto Wallin in the fifth round via technical knockout in December. Given Wallin’s southpaw stance, it was anticipated that Wallin would be a difficult opponent.
Joshua has now defeated Wallin and Ngannou, two fighters that challenged Tyson Fury to a duel via knockout.
After shocking supporters by stopping Fury in their fight from the previous year, many thought Ngannou could surprise Joshua as well.

But Joshua silenced his sceptics by outboxing Ngannou in both of the fight’s rounds and making a statement by winning via knockout in the fight’s allotted five minutes.
After being knocked out, the fighter, who was born in Cameroon, needed medical attention and was given oxygen at the ring’s corner before he was able to get back up.
During the press conference following the fight, Anthony Joshua stated he was prepared to challenge the victor of Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk to reclaim the world heavyweight championships.
