Central Bank OF Nigeria Delay Super Eagles Bonuses At AFCON 2023

The funds intended to cover the Super Eagles’ bonuses and allowances for the current 2023 Africa Cup of Nations have not yet been received by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The funds were authorized by the federal government prior to the competition commencing.

SCORENigeria claims that the NFF has not yet received any money from the CBN.

A $5,000 incentive is owed to each player upon winning, and each player receives a $200 day camp allowance.

For their two victories and draw from the group stage, the players will get payments of $12,500 apiece.

On Saturday (today), the Super Eagles will play a Round of 16 matchup against longtime rivals Cameroon at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
