Over 100 alleged imported voters reportedly brought in by a member of the Accord Party ahead of the Osun State governorship election have been arrested.
The individuals, who were reportedly carrying newly issued Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), were allegedly camped at the residence of one Hon. Abiola Ibrahim ahead of the election.
A video clip circulating on social media shows the alleged imported voters being questioned by security operatives.
During the interrogation, Abiola Ibrahim reportedly confessed that the large group had been accommodated at his residence to vote for the Accord Party in the election.
Ibrahim is reportedly a member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing the Irewole-Isokan Constituency.
Efforts by Kpomkwem News to obtain an immediate reaction from the Osun State Police Command were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
