Evangelist Tonto Dikeh Revisits Abuja School to Assess Impact of Laptop Donation
Nollywood actress, humanitarian and evangelist, Tonto Dikeh, on Friday paid a follow-up visit to a secondary school in Durumi, Abuja, where she had earlier donated laptops to support students’ learning and digital development.
The visit formed part of her effort to monitor the impact of the educational support she previously provided to the school. During her earlier visit, the actress donated several laptops aimed at helping students gain access to digital tools that can enhance research, computer literacy and modern learning.
Speaking during the visit, Dikeh expressed satisfaction at seeing the computers already being utilized by the students and teachers for academic purposes. She said education remains one of the most powerful tools for empowering young people and preparing them for the future.
She encouraged the students to take their studies seriously and make proper use of the resources provided to them. According to her, access to technology gives students an opportunity to explore knowledge beyond textbooks and prepares them for the digital world.
The actress also interacted with the students and members of the school management, who expressed deep appreciation for her support and continued interest in the welfare of the school. Teachers noted that the laptops have already started improving students’ access to information and practical computer learning.
Students who spoke during the visit thanked the evangelist for remembering their school and supporting their educational growth. Many of them described the donation as a motivation to work harder in their studies.
Dikeh reiterated her commitment to supporting education and youth development across Nigeria. She added that giving back to society, especially in the area of education, remains a priority for her foundation and personal outreach efforts.
The visit was marked by warm interactions, encouragement to the students, and renewed calls for individuals and organizations to invest in education as a pathway to national development.
