Kwankwaso Denies Planning Protest Over Insecurity, Supports Peaceful Action
Former Kano State Governor and national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has dismissed reports suggesting that he is planning a protest over the worsening insecurity across the country.
Kwankwaso clarified that he has not called for any demonstration and urged the public to disregard claims linking him to any planned protest. He emphasized that while insecurity remains a major concern affecting many communities, solutions should be pursued through lawful and peaceful means.
The former presidential candidate reiterated the need for government at all levels to intensify efforts in tackling banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, and other security challenges threatening the lives and livelihoods of Nigerians.
Kwankwaso also encouraged citizens to continue engaging constructively with authorities and stakeholders to promote peace, stability, and national development. He stressed that peaceful advocacy and dialogue remain important tools for addressing the country’s pressing issues.
His remarks come amid growing concerns over security challenges in several parts of Nigeria, with many citizens calling for stronger measures to protect lives and property.
